If you live in the catchment area (please ask reception staff who will advise you on this) you will need to complete a registration form and new patient health questionnaire which are available from reception.  You will need to make a 20 minute appointment with the Nurse/Health Care Assistant who will carry out a new patient health check.  This is a basic check in which we will ask you about your health, family medical history and carry out an examination of height, weight , BP and a urine sample (please ask at reception for a sample bottle – red top)

Bewick Road Surgery is disable friendly.

Access to the surgery is via a ramp, with an extra wide front door for wheelchair access. All consulting rooms on ground level, including the treatment room.

The reception desk is fitted with a hearing loop, and we can offer portable hearing loops which can be used in any of the consulting rooms.

There is a disabled toilet available also on ground level, which is fitted with an emergency alarm if required.

The fire exit at the rear of the building is also an extra wide door, with a ramp at the back of the building
